THE Liberal Democrat Candidate who stood against Boris Johnson MP in the last election, has written to local Press asking for clarification of Boris’s intentions to his electors.
In his letter to ThameNews.Net, David Turner, says:

Dear Sirs
Boris Johnson has now been selected as the Conservative Party Candidate for the next Mayor of London. If there is a General Election between now and next May, will the local Conservative party confirm that Boris Johnson will not be their candidate, as he has shown that he prefers to represent the people of London in preference to the people of South Oxfordshire?

Yours sincerely
David Turner
Henley Constituency Liberal Democrat Candidate at the May 2005 General Election
