A group of Travellers that moved onto a Thame recreation area overnight on Friday, were gone by this morning (Sunday, May 11).
All that remained of their presence today were around 10 black plastic sacks of rubbish.
A town councillor today said that an investigation into how the caravans were moved onto the Southern Road Recreation ground, which has regularly placed wooden posts to prevent such trespass, will be undertaken by the town council.
