POSTAL deliveries across Oxfordshire, including Thame, are likely to be disrupted tomorrow (02/09/09)when postal workers at the area?s main sorting office are due to strike for 24 hours.
The Swindon depot, which now deals with mail for Oxfordshire, will stop work from 4am tomorrow until 4am on Thursday.
The strike is expected to affect both the sorting of mail and its transportation.
Apparently a national ballot for strike is planned September 9, and further local strikes are planned for next week.
