THE queue of young fans of the book character, The Gruffalo, snaked out of the door of the Book House, Thame, this afternoon.
They were all keen to buy the latest in the Gruffolo series of books, Tabby McTat, out today, to celebrate the Guffalo’s 10th birthday.
Author, Julia Donaldson and the illustrator, Axel Scheffler, both wrote special messages and signed the childrens’ new books as they chatted to their young fans. Axel drew special little sketches for each child.
A special drama production of The Gruffalo, described as “scary fun for children aged three to 300,” is currently showing at the Oxford Playhouse.
