Dear Editor, I spent the first 66yrs of my life living and working in your area and have many long term friendships. I moved to Yorkshire four years ago, to a small rural village where I am very happy.
Unfortunatly just over a year ago I was diagonised with cancer and have spent this year having treatment.
During this year as well as my new friends here I have received so much support from my old friends in your area.
Their letters, cards, emails and phone calls have really helped me keep going and I would like to say a big THANK YOU to them all.
My battle with this illness continues but it is a battle made easier by all the love and support of my friends both old and new.
I wish all my friends all the best for 2011.
