MANY of Thame’s more elderly residents re-lived their own primary school years earlier today, when they returned to John Hampden School for a special afternoon of Christmas entertainment and tea.
Ninety five pensioners altogether were entertained with a Christmas drama, Christmas Choral speaking and poems by the Thame primary school’s Year four pupils, and enjoyed a sumptuous tea provided by the ladies of Thame’s Inner Wheel Association.
The event was organised by Thame Rotary Club and Mick Sayers entertained the guests with music played on his electric keyboard.
A vote of thanks was given by Steve Sommersbee.
