A special Farewell Festival is being held this Saturday, September 5, to mark the retirement of the Headteacher of John Hampden School, Thame, Alan Haigh, who will be leaving in December. The event is open to all current and past Hampdens, both staff and pupils, who have been involved with the school in the last 20 odd years while Alan has been the Headteacher. The event is a surprise for him – so far – quite an incredible feat! The music acts performing will be current and past pupils and staff and OX9 are headlining. Tickets are £3 each or £10 for a family and are available from the school office today, Friday and at the gate on Saturday.
