CHILDREN of all ages are looking forward to the Children?s Food Festival which takes place this weekend in Little Wittenham, near Abingdon.
The event, back by popular demand for a second year, is the country?s only food festival for young people.
Fronted by celebrity chefs Raymond Blanc and Sophie Grigson, and run in partnership with Oxfordshire County Council and Waitrose, it aims to use fun activities and hands-on learning to introduce children and young people to the delights of food and cooking.
Last year?s festival attracted over 16,000 visitors and it is expected that even more people will attend this year. It takes place on Saturday June 27 (10am-6pm) and Sunday June 28 (10am-5pm) at the Northmoor Trust Farm in Little Wittenham.
