A young Thame woman will be amongst the hundreds taking part in this year’s Race for Life in Oxford on June 26, inspired by her mum’s recovery from caner.
Lorna Shepherd will run 5k to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Lorna said: “This is a charity particularly close to me, as my Mum has been fighting cancer since 2007, and is currently well thanks to the treatment she received. All the money raised by Race for Life helps towards saving lives.
