THAMES Valley Police have confirmed that the police station in Greyhound Lane, Thame, is to close as part of a cost cutting exercise.
A small counter will be maintained somewhere on the site once it has been re-developed as apartments, to maintain a presence in the town centre, but the operational side of police work will transfer to a building somewhere on the Thame Business Park.
The current police station will close sometime in March or April, 2013.
